#1 -Â Exxon Board to Get a Third Activist Pushing Cleaner Energy
Remember, 2 weeks ago a group of activist investors were able to secure 2 seats on Exxon board? They just got a third one after shareholder votes were finalized ; the new boardmember is an Ex-Alphabet senior strategist with a background in environmental policy and clean energy development.
#2 - A 4-day work week could reduce emissions by up to 20%
A new UK study finds a 32-hour week would cut emissions by 127 millions tonnes or more than 20% of the country’s total emissions. This decrease in time worked would happen with no loss of pay.
#3 - David Attenborough Netflix documentary: Australian scientists break down in tears over climate crisis.
The documentary, released last week, shows the toll the demise of the Earth’s natural places is having on the people who study them. One of Australia’s leading coral reef scientists is seen breaking down in tears at the decline of the Great Barrier Reef.

Greenpeace is winning its battle against Australia’s biggest polluter, AGL.
Coles announced a trial to let shoppers bring their own containers for washing detergent, face wash, shampoo, coffee and olive oil.
